Studio Toujours small batch process of making polymer clay earrings

Every piece of jewelry at Studio Toujours has at least one component made from start to finish entirely by hand. From the bringing the design to life through clay formation, to hand drilling each hole, to sanding each piece with multiple grades of of sandpaper, every piece is made with a keen eye for detail and a high bar for quality to achieve the perfect finish.

Small-batch refers to the number of pieces produced during each production cycle. Keeping the production sets limited each time is a way to ensure a high bar for the quality and integrity of the designs. Each batch is limited to 5-10 sets.

Because of the handmade nature of each piece, please allow for potential variation of colors and textures that can be caused during the clay curing process.

We take pride in using high quality earring components in every piece at Studio Toujours. All earring posts are nickel-free and lead-free. The vast majority of earring posts and earring hooks used in the collection are either 14k of 18k plated yellow gold over brass and paired with silicon backings.

A subset of earrings - the studs - are made with vermeil earring posts. Vermeil, also known as gold filled, is made from .925 sterling silver at the core with a plating of 18k gold.

We cannot guarantee that the earrings are hypoallergenic for everyone as metal allergies can differ from person to person. We design with the highest quality of precious metals in an effort to be as  considerate as possible with sensitive skin types in hopes that everyone can wear our earrings. With that said, you know your skin best. If you have specific metal allergies, please let us know and we can try to accommodate!
